Just in the early planning stage for this. I read in an article once of someone building a fixture to run led, t-5 and MH. I would like to research doing the same with the leds and MH dimmable. Not much of a diy person, but willing to learn. Can someone point me to a build thread that has basically the same parameters as what I am describing?
I would like to take advantage of the best of what each has to offer. I can run the mh thru a peak time instead of totally relying on them for the light output. It may be a somewhat complex fixture, but I would love to do it. Any thoughts?
I had planned a led build once, but after listening to people on this site give pros and cons, I thought about something more out the box. May end up with a led/t-5 combo if space becomes an issue.
PS.. I have chinesse LEDS. I have decent growth, but I think I am missing more, plus the corals do not "look" as good than what they did with t-5 last year
