Just wanted to pop in and meet some new contacts. I'm from north central pa about 30 min from Corning. I've been deployed/stationed elsewhere in recent years in the USAF. I'll be headed back home for good in the next few months. Over the past 1-2 yrs I've been making trips home and every time I do I visit the LFS's in the area. I'm currently stationed in NC, I've been reefing for around 7 years now with everything from a 2g pico to a 150g reef. I currently have a 120. I just took down my others last weekend in the preperation for the move ahead. Both my kids had 14g biocubes and I had a frag/holding system that consisted of 2x33g longs with 4xt5 54w sump and skimmer. I also have a breeding pair of bangii cardinals they have produced over 40 babies within the last 6 months. I'm looking to make some friends before I move back and I'm always up for some trading.

I've also recently got my dad into reefing. He has a 55g but is kind of an impulse buyer when it comes to fish. And every time I come back I have to take some stuff out. So if anybody is up for some trading now I'm not afraid to ship stuff I have insulated boxes and heat packs. If not I should be back up there before summer.( not to excited bout moving the tank that far) I tried adding pics but its failing to upload. Take care and hope to talk to you soon.

Well welcome back home!! And welcome to RC. I work in corning so I'm not to far out of the way. Cant really help down there but when things get moved up here and you need a hand don't hesitate to ask I'm around if you need a hand!

Oh and congrats on the bangii, that's awesome!

Thanks. Just adding to the tank I picked up a group of longspine cardinals today from a local here. They are tank raised by SAAquatics. I'm hoping to get them breeding in the future. And my bangia are courting again so fingers crossed for more offspring from them in a few weeks.

once again thanks, it looks as though some things may have gotten extended and hopefully i should be back in the are around june-july now. i just picked up a sweet new breeding rack, once again i cant upload pics but it's 2 acrylic tanks, top measures 48x14x18 the bottom is 48x18x18, each are sepreated into 4 compartments, with 1 overflow in each tank and 4 returns. im still on the hunt for a few other things for it such as lights, pumps, skimmer. i'll start a build thread and show what im working with.

Hey everybody I made it back up unfortunately I lost a few fish. So I'm on the hunt for some brood stock now. Looking for mature bangia cardinals and a few clowns. Lmk thanks.
