Yep, that's right, SEASL is preparing to publish it's first newsletter! Our goal is to produce a monthly publication that will be available online and through our email list. We'll also have a few printed copies available at our meetings.

The newsletter will include several staples, such as a recap of the last meeting, a sneak peek at the upcoming meeting, a big WELCOME to our new members, and a little information about SEASL and some of the cool stuff we have happening.

Those tidbits are a good foundation, but we want the newsletter to be fantastic. The only way to do that is to include lots of pics and articles from the members!

A few member features we can include are:

Show Us Your Baby - send us pictures of your favorite coral, fish, or invert
DIY - give us a little write up on how you made that super cool calcium reactor
Product Review - did you find something great or something we shouldn't waste our money on? Let us know what it is and how it performed.
Tips & Tricks - have a helpful tip? Share it here!
Member Articles - this is a great way to showcase your favorite item, whether it's livestock or equipment. If you have insight on how to keep a particular fish or coral, submit an article for the club to share. Same goes for an unusual piece of equipment or a new approach to maintaining/propagating corals.

Most importantly, don't feel intimidated about writing an article!! If you have info to share, but you don't have time to put together an article, drop us a line with the important info and we'll help you write the finished piece.

If you have anything you'd like to share, whether it's from the list above or something different, send a PM to McBeck (Becky McAlister). We want to help you showcase your pictures and information!

Thanks,
Greg, Brad, Becky & Tom

I think this is such a great idea... it'll take some work to keep up and running buy a great idea.

I also think we should have our own tank of the month to showcase different memebers tanks so we can see what everyone locally is doing doing to have such beautiful tanks.
