command programming question

When working with command lines (i.e. If Time > 700...) that I am adding, do I need to delete the factory default command lines out of the system. Could conflict occur if I don't (i.e. I set an on command for my MH ligthing in outlet 1 but there is already a factor default in their to turn off a pump on outlet 1 at some other time thus creating a possible conflict).

Want to try and screw up as little as possible!

I would, just so you have a clean slate and you know what is going on and can troubleshoot later. If you have factory code and start adding your code, you might get unwanted results since as you noticed, their timer outlets are not the same configuration as yours.
