Comp 123

I just dosed for the first time with Comp 123. I am concerned because I did not see the white cloud appear and dissipate with the Alk dosage.

Should I be worried??

No Kevin,
It is not the same type of alk, so it does not leave cloudy appearance upon dosing, this is normal :)

That is a relief and good to know.

One last question.

I am currently dosing 50ml of B Ionic Alk daily, 30 CA, 1ml Koral Color, 1 drop of Lugols. Last night I dosed 50ml of Comp 123.

Should I still continue the KC and Lugols? or should I discontinue these?

Thanks again

Kevin,
I would imagine it should balance out around there, seems a bit high for your volume, but more formula means growth is probably taking off. Cheers

Everything is not growing but the things that are appear to be taking off. That big plating Blue Chalice [that you have frags of] and plating Green Chalice are exploding. Along with some montis. They alone are probably sucking down the elements. Red Planet and Orange Digi are experiencing accelerated growth. A couple of acros have begun to break new ground.

I come home anxious each day to see what changes are happening.

Is this normal? My comp 1 seems was milky yesterday night. Now this morning I saw that it all settled at the bottom next to my dosing tube. So I mixed it agian. Now back to milky.
Should I be worried. How are yours coming out.

In the pic from left to right is comp 1, comp 2 then comp 3

My comp one is milky and settles at the bottom 2. I used to stir it up etc ...now I don't bother and just let it settle and draw liquid from above the settled powder.

Good info to know. Especially given the success and beauty of your tank.
