Compatability Question

I have read from a couple differnt sources that clowns if introduced at the same time and each with their own host can live harmoniously. Is this true? I have always love 3 kinds of clown...Gold stripe marroon, clarkii and black percula. I really don't want to have to have 2 nanos ( no room unfortunatly) in addition to my show tank to house all 3 kinds.

ah, I'm not very sure...the maroon can be very aggressive I've heard to other anemone fish...but thats just what i've read. I have a percula and oscellaris finally getting along now. The Clarkii too is a larger species...maybe the clarkii and the maroon would work. Hopefully someone else can better answer this question.

that situation has pain written all over it. When you introduce 2 of the same species(excluding Maroons) you have a very good chance of them pairing and living together. Maroons and Clark's both get large around 5-6" and with size comes attitude. For the community tank yor best bet will be the black perc.

Ok. I have another question. How would a med-large gold stripe marroon do with dwarf/zebra lionfish ( I have a second 55 that is about to be dwarf Lionfish territory) species D. zebra?

I am willing to settle for a black percula or clarkii in my reef 55 gal.

Fish are so addictive!!!
