compatibility an issue when adding anemones?

I have a 45 gallon tank with approx. 70# LR, 60# LS,System is great, parameters great with current livestock ( 2 full grown chromis, 1- 3" queen conch, 1 - 2" tiger cowrie, 1 lg coral banded shrimp, 1 med. peppermint shrimp, 1 emerald crab, 2 cleaner crabs, 1 hermit crab, 1 serpent star, and lots of green stripped, blue and purple striped and green dimpled mushrooms.)

These mushrooms are pretty indestructible. Everything is peaceful and have been together for over 3 years.


Can I add an anemone? I have the space and am aware that they tend to pick their own spot.

My LFS information, tends to conflict with my research so would like you to weigh in you opinion.

How long has your tank been set up?

What nems are you thinking about? Do you have the right lighting for them?
