Compatibility of fish in QT tanks?

I'm agonizing over whether to pull coral and use CP in my DT or go nuts to pull all the fish and get them into QT for cupramine to try and eliminate cryptocaryon from my system once and for all. This question is how I might be able to split the fish into my two 10 gallon spare tanks. Livestock:

3" Kole tang - surprisingly aggressive
2.5" Huchtii Anthias m - also a bit aggressive
1.75" Lyretail f
1.5" Resplendant f
2" Royal Gramma
3" Midas Blenny
2.75" Hoeven's Wrasse
2.5" Yellow Coris Wrasse
2 @ 2" PJ Cardinals.

Question, what if any distribution into two 10g tanks might succeed for 80 days.

Follow on question: How do I catch the Yellow Coris who will bury himself out of view the moment I start to catch fish?

Thank you,

Oh man, if I were u I would buy a bigger tank, used or whatever. At one point I had 4 tangs in a 40 breeder and that seemed ok, and I had an adult chevron in a 20 gallon, and he paced back and forth each day, but I wanna say the power head I had in there to create flow may have helped him? Even still I felt bad for him being stuck in a 20 gallon for over a month.

I know it sucks and it's an unexpected cost, but I think you're better off trying to find a larger tank for them. Man, what's funny is I sold my old set up only to buy more tanks for QT. AND A TON OF heaters and filters.

I say for the best survival of ur fish, get a larger tank for the tang and the aggressive fish and split up the smaller ones. Sucks.

10gal tanks are going to be very tight quarters for 2 of those fish, let alone 4-5 of them. What you might consider is getting a larger QT (say a 40b or 55gal), and running multiple tank transfers with 2-3 fish. Once each group is finished with TTM, move them into the large QT while your DT runs fallow. It will be a lot of work, and it will delay your fallow period by about a month. But cramming all of those fish into two 10gal tanks is a recipe for disaster IMO.

As far as the Yellow Coris goes, I've had good luck with the Aqua Medic fish trap. Put the trap in the tank for a couple days so the fish are used to it, and feed them inside the trap. Once they are comfortable taking food from the trap, you can start catching them. I would make the Coris the priority target. :)

You won't be able to keep ammonia in check with 10g tanks and using ammonia detoxifier will only get you so far, plus it strips O2 from the water
