I am interested in either a Lineatus Fairy Wrasse or a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse and would like to know it a 6 line would get along.

get rid of the six line, I have a six line and picked up an amazing Chistmas wrasse ($200.00) and the six line killed it, I since removed my six line from my display and put him in my frag tank, I want to sell him now.

Thats good advise, get rid of the Six Line. I had one that killed many fish too.

Thank you both for your advice. My 6 line has showed no aggression to any other tank mate, he is actually on the timid side during feeding time. Of course his tank mates are 3 Bartlett's Anthias and a mated pair of black/white clowns. Anyone else have any input on this?

Ok thank you, looks like another wrasse is out of the question. I would never be able to get the six line out without tearing the tank apart.

I'm in the same boat with my 180g. Luckily my sixline is super well behaved and I can't imagine my tank without him. :D

A sixline in a 180 should be okay - no guarantees though.

As they mature, They turn into real a**holes when they're in a smaller tanks.

I agree with the others, I had a sixline in a 50gal and it terriorized any new fish I tried to add to it, including a McCosker. Once that sixline is established, you shouldn't try add any wrasse, especially docile ones.

You can try making a make-shift fishtrap out of a water bottle, but if its a timid feeder it might take awhile for it to work.

Thank you everyone for your advice. As stated above I couldn't imagin not having the 6 line in my tank as I really injoy it. It looks like another wrasse is not going to happen.

I have 8 wrasses and I wouldn't have a sixline for a minute. While they are neat flying solo the movement of color of other wrasses are much more appealing.
