I have a 4' x 3' x 20" tank. Its FOWLR with lots of rock for hiding. No inverts

current stock
sm hippo
med sailfin
med yellow tang
sm/med powder brown tang

pair black clowns
six line
royal dottyback
green chromis
lg banghai cardinal

Im considering adding one more fish, I want a trigger. I've always enjoyed the picasso triggers and found them to be very docile. Nigers are also pretty chill.

My main compatibility question would be any trigger with the Chromis and royal basslet. I seriously doubt the six line would be in jeopardy he is way too fast

if i were you, i would concentrate on making sure your existing fish are healthy. the last thing you should be doing right now while battling your ich outbreak is planning more fish.

in addition to that, in that small of a tank, with that many tangs, you're already over stocked. i wouldn't go adding more, especially any kind of trigger.

for what it's worth, i've heard the exact opposite about picasso triggers.

get your disease outbreak under control the RIGHT way, before you consider infecting any new fish.

If I am reading your post right you have a 4ft tank with 4 Tangs that will get big and aggressive. It might be calm now, but one day all hell will break loose. If I was you, I would take out all them tangs and get some smaller species of Tangs (like Kole or Tomini) and do not get the Trigger. Good Luck!

You also have two tangs that both require 8' tanks...I would rehome them and then think about a bluethroat trigger, they are smaller and are less aggressive than the Picasso and Niger..
I mean the hippo and the sailfin needing larger tanks.
