Complete 80 gallon set up for sale

Dirt4dinner

Home Growin' SUSHI!
Over the last few months I have been thinking long and hard about whether or not to sell of this system. I have decided that it is time. The money and time commitment are becoming problematic.

80 gallon (3' x 31") acrylic tank from Acrylic Creations (built in overflow)
Customer done stand and canopy stained a natural red wood color
6 T5 Lights on two ballasts in the canopy (IceCap 660 & Workhorse)
two mounted fans in canopy
2 Seio M820s
Moonlights in the canopy
Arctica Chiller
ASM G3 Skimmer with all the mods done
Two Little Fishies Phosban reactor w/ media
Rainbow Lifegaard audible temperature alert
Custom made sump
6 stage RODI unit w/ extra resin (plumbed to float valve in sump)
Magnum 350 filter w/ box of Diatomous earth for water polishing
Enaly Ozone Generator w/ air dryer and Milwakee controller and probe
2 DJ light contoller boxes for on/off switches
There is also a handful of pumps working in the sump for the chiller, refugium feed and return pump etc.

This deal will also include the home of my Mantis Shrimp BAM BAM
This seperate 17 gallon acrylic tank is plumbed to and from the main tanks sump. It is on it's own stand and sits next to the display tank. it has 2 lights on it. Bam Bam is the coolest saltwater critter I have ever owned! It has it's own live rock and live sand...and of course Bam Bam!

There is between 80-100 lbs of amazing live rock in the tank
I have a 6" sand bed.

Livestock includes (you know I will forget a few things)
Orange Shouldered Tang
Sailfin Tang
Copperband Butterfly
Lawnmower Blenny
Six Line Wrasse
Clarkii clown w/ large host anemone
3 Black Spot Cardinals
2 cleaner gobies
1 cleaner shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp
1 black brittle star
2 fighting conchs
1 horse shoe crab
1 sand sifting star
Frog Spawn
Sun Coral
Xenia
Zoos
Polyps
Tulip Anemones

I also will be including EVERYTHING I have laying around from nearly two years in this hobby. Frozen, refrigerated and dry foods, Test kits, additives, B-Ionic 2 part, nets, spare power heads, tubes, fittings, PVC, 5 gallon jugs, 5 gallon buckets, refractometer, spare light bulbs, 2/3 bucket of Tropic Marine Pro, timers etc etc etc.....

I have well over $5000 invested. This tank and 90% of the dry goods are all less than one year old. The live rock was purchased from an 8 year old established tank so it was amazing when I got it, and it's only gotten better in my tank! The tank is very impressive. The other great thing about it is it's small footprint. If you decide to purchase the whole thing at my asking price I will include the piece of IKEA furniture that is used to display the mantis shrimp tank/ refugium. It is stained to match the tank. The chiller is hidden away in another piece of IKEA furniture also stained to match the tank. It is an INCREDIBLY clean set up.

The total length of the mantis display shelves, the tank it's self and the chiller box is about 8-9 ft.

At this time I AM NOT interested in parting anything out. This is a turn key tank for someone and I don't want to have to go through all the headache of finding homes for every critter and then having to part out the tank.

Total cost is going to be $3000. I will keep bumping this add for a month or so and see where we are then. Thanks and please let me know if you would like to come see the tank.

This photo is fairly old and the lights on the tank are off in it. There is also no rock in the Display refugium. There is now about 15 lbs of live rock and some macro algea.

This is a photo of the sump when it was new. It is still in nice shape...just a few more pipes with display refugium plumbed into it.

If I decide to part out it won't be for a few months. I will start a new thread at the time with a break out on the pricing for different items.

More photos.

Well his sux, I've never met you but I've enjoyed reading what you've posted. I would also like to know the specifics of how you plumbed that stand alone fuge. I'll PM you

nooooo.....what a shame. I am sorry you are getting out. Your not even keeping a nano?

If you decide to break it up any, I am interested in a lot of your livestock, esp the tangs. let me know!!

Thanks guys. I have considered down sizing and we will just see what happens. I really really really like the Mantis shrimp and I might just do a Mantis nano with a 24 gallon cube. Who knows. I doubt I will vanish completely...to many good people on here!

I would be more than happy to give you the "how to" on the display refugium plumbing.

Man. Another for sale post. Is there something in the water? If you do part out there are a couple things I'd be interested in as well. Good luck.

Like I said above folks. I am not planning on parting out and if I do there will be a new thread with prices for each item. I appreciate your interest, but this thing would be better off going as one big set up.

On a side note, if someone on the site knows a person wanting to get into the hobby...I will offer a $100 bounty for a buyer. Everyone knows somebody who has thought about getting a tank. Spread the word!
