Complete system for sale

Due to several reasons, primarily the possible move to Florida, I'm selling my 75 gal setup, plus the frag tank I never got into operation.

Most of this will be reasonable offers taken, a few items I have priced. I do not have pics, but will be more than happy to host shoppers with interests. There are a few pics of items in my gallery, but the most recent stuff there's just too much to get them all in.

Here we go:

Hardware:
40 gal breeder tank. While it could be used for display, be best for a frag tank setup. Drilled back, glass overflow. - $50.00

Stand for above tank. Black, purchased new from Critter. Make offer.

20 Sump. I made the sump from a 20 gal tank to go in the bottom of above stand. 2 baffles, should be good enough for a softie/zoo/ LPS frag tank. - $40.00

AquaClear skimmer. Small size, for around 50 gal and down. MJ 900 pump included, slightly modified (return) for quieter operation in the above listed sump. $50.00 obo

Mag Drive 5 pump. NIB. Purchased originally for a return for the Frag setup. Has to go, paid Critter's price @ 100, online retail of 50, will take $45.00 to get it to move.

Aqualogic Chiller. Picked this up from Fishdoc (Chris) back in March this year. I honestly can't remember what h/p rating it is, maybe he can chime in. I believe it's either 1/8 or 1/4. Never had the opportunity (ie: time) to get this in operation. I think I gave him 200 for it, will let it go for $175.00 or throw in the above Mag pump with it for a total of $200.00.

Ehiem 2715 filter. Used it up until April or so, then went filterless on the tank. Works perfect - $40.00

Phosban Reactor. - $25.00

All of the above items are available for immediate release. The following are in operation, and necessary until all livestock is sold

75 Gal non reef ready tank. We got the tank used a few years ago, some minor scratches here and there, overall, still a nice display. $60.00

Bookshelf type stand. Open center with shelves, one door on each side (front). Nice looking stand, but if I knew then what I know now.....$50.00

Tek T-5 6x54 watt light. I believe I have 3 or so extra bulbs. Current bulbs about 6 months old. I'm growing stonies well with this light, and it has two separate switches to do dusk/dawn with it. Great light - $300.00 with the extra bulbs included.

CPR HOB refugium/skimmer. I'm not using it as a refugium, I'm using it as a makeshift sump. Included is the MJ 1200 pump, with a modified Ehiem surface skimmer on the intake side. $50.00

Coralife CS65 skimmer. Probably the best skimmer I've used yet. Pump included, I'm using it HOB in the refugium/sump listed above. I've had no issues running "filterless" using this and the CPR as a secondary skimmer. $50.00

Penguin 1120 pump. Somewhere around 300 gph. $10.00

Mag 9.5 pump with closed loop plumbing (black). Set up for the 75, will work on 90 gal 48" wide tanks also. Pump with plumbing - $50.00

MJ900 - $10.00

Seio M620 pump - 600gph or so - $25.00

2 Coralife LED moonlights. Adjustable stem - $10.00 for the pair or $7.50 each.

There's assorted tests kits, chemicals, ect that if anyone is interested in any of this, they're welcome to on pickup.

Again, main tank hardware cannot be sold until lifestock is sold. I'll update this post later tonight with the livestock list. Most primarily zooanthids (70+) with a couple of stonies.

Thanks, and be back later -
Steve

I am very interested in the 40 Gallon Breeder and the stand for that tank.

Who is the tank made by and how much do you want for the stand?

Joe Wall

I honestly can't remember who the tank is made by. It's very very heavy, the glass is almost twice as thick as my 75. As far as the stand is concerned, my wife is griping that I put up "offer", but that's what it is, make an offer. I think I paid somewhere around 100 for it from Critter. Seriously, make an offer on it.

And I forgot to add to the post, best way to reach me is by email : sn8kbit@comcast.net as I don't frequent the boards as I used to.

Thanks,
Steve

Emails replied to. As an update, I've just found out (I didn't check when I originally bought it) the "40 breeder" is closer to 30. Sorry if there's confusion in that - Thanks.

An updated short list:

Coralife Moon Lights Angela Short, which will be available soon, I hope Angela, I'd like to keep them running until the tank stock is sold.

Mag 9.5 and Coralife Skimmer Kalied20 once tank stock is sold.

Thanks!
Steve

Livestock list coming shortly, with a few additional pics as requested.

Livestock While I can get pics of these, it's a ton easier to set up times for folks to come by and simply look at them to see what they may want. Fish are kinda explanatory, zoos however are different, and there's several different kinds, and would be a pain. Email me, and we'll see what we can do. Offers on all considered, I will wheel and deal on package purchases.

Pair of Oc. clowns. I've had these in the tank since the beginning (Oct 04), and they like to host in zoos (??) Offer

1 Bicolor Blenny. Great color, maybe 2 inches. Again, been in the system since the beginning. Offer

1 Lawnmower Blenny. about 2 1/2 inches, have had him about 6 months. Offer

1 Green Mandarin. Had him about a year, maybe a bit more than that. Very fat fish, but needs to go to an established system. Will eat Mysis (I can show ya that) and some other prepared foods, but really needs to be in a pod rich system. Everyone's favorite fish in my tank, and probably the hardest one to let go, aside all of the zoos. $30.00

2 Cleaner shrimp. 15.00 or $9.00 each

2 Fire shrimp (huge) 20.00 or $15.00 each

1 Serpent star. Roughly 8" across, tip to tip. Purple pink in color, body about the size of a silver dollar. $8.00

1 Green Brittle star. Has lived very friendly in my system for about a year and a half. About 12+ inches tip to tip, just over silver dollar size in body. $10.00

1 sally lightfoot crab $5.00

1 emerald crab $5.00

Several blue and red leg hermits, maybe a brown or two $1.00 each

More snails than I can count, Narsissus, Turbo (golf ball size), some others I can't off hand remember.

Roughly 100 lbs of live rock. Make an offer on the entire bulk, I'm trying to figure up a per pound price. Trying to be fair for both me and the buyer. TBS rock, established since Oct 04, plenty of coraline and sponge growth, tons of pods, featherdusters, ect.

Somewhere between 60 and 80 lbs of crushed coral/sand, also from TBS and in the tank since the beginning.

Coral

If there's interest in frags of the two stonies, I may do that, but I'd prefer to sell them as they are, since fragging stonies is not my forte. Zoos I can do multiple frags of, and will be more than happy to do if the interest is there. Hardest part of this is deciding on pricing on the zoos. The majority of them are from Ultimate Frags, and are absolutely georgous. At the moment, for those that may run across this from out of state, I have no interest in shipping any of this.

Evil Mel's Green Milli - picked up from Fishdoc a while back, probably around 4+ inches high, 4+ inches across. Maybe a bit larger, but I'm ballparking. - $40.00

ORA Blue Tort. - Picked up at the frag swap, great color and growth since then. Maybe 3 inches tall, and spreading out to around 2.5" out. This is frag-a-ble, but I'd prefer not to. $50.00

Pocillopora - Had this for quite a while, and been through a bunch. It's been tri-color, brown, brown with blue polyps, white, tan ect. I'm not sure if I have enough light on it or not, but great shape to it. Have to see this one in person - $15.00

Orange rics - about 5 of them, they're piled close together, but at least 4. Wife got one as a door prize at the last swap, and it's multiplied quite nicely. $10.00 each, or $35.00 for them all

Green Shroom rock, with very nice neon green centered, blue ring, neon green skirt zoos. 4 shrooms and the rest of the rock is zoo covered, about 2.5" x 3" (40-50 polyps) $30.00 obo

Couple of small xenia stalks. If interested let me know.

Branching frogspawn - Several heads, slightly larger than a softball or softball size when open. $25.00

Green star polyp rock - Size of a large grapefruit and covered. Some of it has started to grow on the back wall of the tank. Beautiful rock, wish the clowns had taken to it instead of zoos - $40.00 obo

I have another rock with GSP on it that I can frag off the rock, since it's on a fairly large rock. Have to see it.

Green "Button" polyps. Have to see these, almost quarter size per polyp, and colony about the size of a baseball. Deep noen green under actinic. $20.00

Brown button polyps. Most of these took of on the back glass. If you need some let me know.

Red shrooms. attached to a fairly small, but heavy piece of rock. More of a deep red/purple color, 2 of them. $15.00 for both and the rock they're attached to.

Zoo list coming, hardest one to do up.

The chiller is 1/4 hp.
Sorry to see you getting out but hope the oppourtunity in FL works out:)
Good luck Steve, Chris

Zoo list

This is by far the hardest part to let go in the tank. Pride and joy, so to speak, but won't price them like gold, or per-polyp. For now, I'll list what "names" I can think of, and if I don't have the exact names, I'll try to describe them as accurately as possible. Most are frag-a-ble, but I really don't want to break down 5 polyp rocks. The majority of the zoos are colonies, and fairly easy to frag if necessary. I'd be more than happy to take suggestions on fair "frag price" for these.

2 Dragon eye colonies.

3-5 Fire and Ice colonies (different variations)

2 Radioactive Dragon eye small colonies.(UF)

1 large Red PPE colony

2 "star-gazer" PPE frags (6-10 polyps)

1 baseball size "star-gazer" PPE colony

3-4 Cinnamon polyps (these get very large). More along the lines of Paly's

5-10 Mustard colored Paly's

1 colony of Green Bay Packers

1 small colony of "Red Tarantulas" from Ultimate Frags (UF)

1 Huge softball size colony of "blue eyed girls" pink center, blue mouth, greyish skirt

1 5-10 polyp frag of pink paly's. simliar to BEG's above, but the blue kind of mazes out throughout the center. Nice (UF)

2 small colonies of "GIJoes"

3-4 small colonies of what looks to me to be Bali Safecrakers. Orange skirt, blue ring, orange ring, blue ring, orange dot at mouth.

2 small colonies of Zombie eyes

1 colony of "grateful dead" zoos (UF)

1 frag of Watermelon Paly's. White skirt, light pink ring, pastel green ring, light colored mouth. I love these. An unexpected addition from UF.

3 small frags of "superman". Been called other things, orange skirt, thin dark (blue/purple?) ring, orange center. Nice zoos (UF)

2 frags (10+ polyps) "true orange" zoos. Brown skirt with tangerine (seriously, tangerine) solid center. Really nice zoo

1 true PPE polyp. A bonus in a shipment from UF. On a rock with two "True Orange" PPEs that have been closed the last couple of days. The Tru Orange is red skirted, neon orange center, blue circle with the traditional PPE mouth. Very very nice

Alien Eye colonies. Varies, from orange skirt, to brown skirt with white stripes. Several colonies like this, have to see them.

1 solid white paly, no color at all. very different.

1 small colony of "Solars" from UF. My favorite zoo in the tank. Yellow skirt, black ring, red ring, yellow mouth. Incredible, and if I could, I'd do a pico tank and just keep these. May be able to make a two fragger out of this.

5-10 polyp frag of UF's "Armegeddon 2" payls. Have to see these. Can't accurately describe them. My second fav's next to the solars above.

1 colony of True Blue, with red skirt.

1 "Mean Green" colony (I think that's what it is)

1 colony of blueish/purple centered, white dot at the mouth, green skirted zoos

Several other common type zoos. Lots of greens and oranges, some yellow centered, ect.

Honestly, there's simply too many to get accurate "decent" pics of these, and those that are interested, feel free to get a group together and come over to see them, that's the best way to do it.

I'm proud of my zoos, and if I didn't have them, I'd have quit the tank a long time ago. My time to properly maintain the tank is diminishing, the noise is getting to the wife, maintenance costs, ect, along with the probable move to Florida is forcing this sale. Between the Mandarin and my zoos, I hate letting this stuff go, but would like to see these go to a group of people that truly appreciate them, and share them as they grow out. Again, I'll try to come up with a fair frag price, and will break up all colonies if necessary.

Thanks!
Steve

Chris,

Thanks for the help the last couple of years. The zoos would make it to Florida fine, but I'm not sure I'm up to the "upkeep" should this go through.

All emails and PM's responded to.

Thanks!
Steve

Tort, Pocci, Mandarin, red shrooms, Fire shrimp, Green Button Polyps are spoken for.

Cleaner shrimp spoken for.

50 snails spoken for.

Zoos are likely to go quickly. Some shopping going on tomorrow evening. I'll update the frag list as that happens, and hopefully come up with pricing by then also, as I'll be selling some, and it'll give me a price point.

Thanks!
Steve
