Hi there.
I am considering purchasing a Tunze setup and had some (possibly stupid) questions.
First a little about my tank:
It's a 120G (4X2X2).
My return pump offers about 900GPH in flow, and I also have 2 MJ1200s, set up as so:
I have a variety of SPS, LPS, and zos.
I know I need more flow and think this may be the way to go, but I had a few questions.
1. Which Tunze pumps would you recommend for my tank? Obviously, cheap is better, but heat is also a consideration.
2. Would you recommend the single or multi-controller? Other than being able to handle more pumps, are there other differences between them?
3. Could I mount them in the same spots my PHs are currently? Are there ways to angle the flow or is it even necessary?
4. What is the difference in size between the PHs and the Tunze streams?
5. I have an open back canopy. Can I just use the hangers that come with the pumps? I want to keep them relatively high in the tank for the safety of my sand bed.
I think that is all for now, but I am sure I'll have more questions tomorrow when my brain is functioning better.
Thanks for the help...
