I'm reading and doing research am somewhat confused and hoping you guys could help me out.
I've read where this is to be dosed weekly. Other places/forums/people are dosing it daily. Now I know the most important component with this is alk. Wanna keep that stable. The cal and the alk can be dosed separate as to your needs and consumption.
I don't have many corals. Some frogspawn, toadstools, Kenya trees, zoas, mushrooms. I plan on adding some SPS when my levels are ready and stable. I plan on adding pocillopora, monti caps and birdsnest. My question is how much should I dose and how frequently?
My tank is a 240 gallon. Minus rocks and sand I wiukd say 200 gallons. Sump is 125 filled halfway so let's say 55-60 gallons. Fuge is 75 gallons gravity fed into sump. I have nothing but rocks in there and it's almost filled to the top so I would say 60 gallons. I do plan on adding some dragons breath and a light of course but don't know if either are necessary. So total water volume is/would be 315-320 gallons.
I am starting my aquaforest regime on Sunday. I currently have the reef salt which I will be using in conjunction with a 5 gallon water change every day minus the weekends. I have bio S which I plan on using everyday for the first 2 weeks as suggedted. Then I will place the recommended dosage in my 55 gallon saltwater bucket that I'm using for auto water changes. I have the -np pro and pro bio S that I will begin after the 2 weeks of bio S. Unless that is not needed or I don't need to wait
On the way I have phosohate minus, carbon, coral A, coral V and coral B which I will dose at there recommended level. I know coral A and V are to be used together and at night every other day. Coral B is 1-3 drops every day at night.
Anything else you guys suggest or you think I am missing? Thanks
