Concerned, Going on Vacation

I'm going on vacation next week for 10 days. I have a 180 Fowlr, with an 2 eels, Lion, Emp, angel, foxface, mappa puffer, Rhinopias, and a few damsels. I have no one around that has any clue on how to take care of fish. So you can understand my concern! So what are your recomendations as far as leaving a complete novice in the care of my tank? Getting the chills as I'm writing this. I've heard some crazy horror stories of going on beautiful vacation only to come back to complete disaster. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. possible warning signs to look for
and maybe bring them over a couple times before you leave if possible to observe what you do also check in daily and leave digital camera so they can send pics if anything comes up when out of town/ this has always worked for me and my friends kinda like a videoconference for the aquarium if you get my idea

I would get a weekly vitamin case and put in the days you want fed the amount already premeasured. I went on a safari last August for 2 weeks that worked for me. They just did a specimen container of RO top off everyday. But I would cut back on feeding to once every other day or every 3 days it is better to go with less food for a week or so then to have a chance of a ammonia or nitrate spike before you get back.

agree 100% with the above less is always more when the owner is away. Fish will not die of starvation overnite but they can die of spikes caused by overfeeding.

Exactly what I did. I don't have an ato so I put a line on the sump for water level. Plus hide the extra food so they don't get inclined to overfeed the begging puffer.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I like the camera idea but I'll be deep in the ocean for most of the trip and won't be able to contact my caretaker. I will definately hide the food and only leave small amounts. Thanks for all suggestions. Regards, Tim
