Concerning the Bubble-tip Anemone

Breakout: Which fixture - the sundial or the auaticlife? Congrats! Common feeling in this hobby - leery of spending the money, but happy once you do!

Don't know much about the particulars of lighting, but I the wattage comes from the ballast, which you could upgrade to push out more wattage, but I would be careful doing things like that without some experience - or at least some good guidance from someone here at RC.

I bought the Sundial T5 fixture. It arrives on the 20th. My clowns are going to look awesome under such intense illumination. Especially since I'm using Oceanic's salt now it's super clear and testing at 2.65 meq/L. Good times...

Ok, I've got the new lights installed and it's beyond what I was expecting. The legs seem sturdy enough. I've got no complaints with them; they fit well enough and are sturdy. The legs do, however, inhibit my glass lid rom opening very widely. So, that could cause some grief for folks out there who want to do illuminated tank maintenance.

i have a 29 gallon w/ a rbta running 2 65watt pc's w/ no problems. My rbta is nice and happy w/ 2 clowns hosting. Metal Halides would I am guessing over heat you tank.

I went with a 96 watt T5 set-up with built in fans, reflectors, and moon lights. I've bought the anemone today.

My RBTA is added since 21 October, 2009, and is bulbous, happy, full of color and hosting my clowns under said T5 assembly. w00t! Thanks for helping me. I'm one satisfied aquarist.

On a 29 gallon Metal Halides will not over heat the tank.I have a 150 watts over mine and have been very happy with it.I also have 2 15 watts t5s putting me at 180 watts and have about 6 watts to the gallon!

I went hardcore...lol.I got the light becauyse I at the time had some anemones that loved the light(Stichodactyla haddoni). So when that anemone passed I went and got a 14 inch LTA and has grown about 2 inches scenice I got him in August.
