Cone Skimmer Thoughts

Does anyone run a cone skimmer?

Thinking of asking Santa for one.

I looked into one and came real close to buying the itech 200 with a tunze pump.I ended up going with an octopus extreme 200because of the money diffrence.If i was going to buy a cone i would go with the itech.Hand made in florida and a pretty good price when it come to a cone skimmer-Kieth

if a low cost one is what your looking for, you can't beat the MSX miniS cone for $370. its about the same size as the MSX200, so i'm not sure why they call it "mini"

interesting. i wonder what pump is better, the bubble blaster or sicce?
I see one plus to the MSX and that is that it has the removable bubble plate for ease of cleaning. other than that, they look pretty similar...

I own the ATB Medium cone... It is a great skimmer. I know it is pricey compared to the other manufacturers that are now releasing similar type skimmers, but I will say that the build quality, performance, and customer service are excellent...


Sus is right for the money that MSX cone looks like a great buy..
