How do I adjust setting with multi controller to be most natural? Interval 2 6 hr natural 3 sec int top and bottom?

Please be specific. I have 2 6100 mounted on rear side walls facing center. Can't keep sand in middle 1.5 foot of tank. Fine grain.

You got the most natural settings at 6 hour int at int 2, with 3 sec pulse. However, the only way to get the sand disturbance down is to throttle back the upper pulse limit. Do you have it at 100%? If so, just dial it down until you see you sand settling. Sometimes, you have to make a tradeoff- sand or water flow!

I'd to reduce the upper setting by about 15-20% from getting the sand blowing away in the middle and I also have the pump positioned as close to the surface as possible without drawing air in and the power 2 setting is about 60-65%. But still have to move some sand back in the middle every 2 days.

If I keep the upper limit rediced by about 25-30% then the sand doesn't kickup but the the difference between the 2 setting will be very minimal. Just curious as to what settings other folks here use.
