Considering a nano for my bedroom

Having looked at some old pics of the 3 gallon tank i started off with back in college, I'm considering adding a really small nano tank to my bedroom dresser. Im thinking no larger than 2 gallons but possibly even smaller. Does anyone have suggestions for doing this? I'd be using some sand and LR from my current setup, And keeping only inverts like a hermit, snail, a few zoo polyps, a piece of macro algae, mabe a sexy shrimp or something along those lines. Does anyone know where i could get a tank this size or smaller? I think i have 90% of what i'd need in my other tanks already.
Best regards,
Ryan

I already figured that a big problem will be keeping the tank heated, becuase my bedroom is probably 65 degrees all day, so i found a nano heater from drs foster/smith and ordered it. Next ill be looking at lighting and filtration. Any suggestions on that for tanks smaller than 2 gl?

Look into the Tomm Deco Tanks. They come in 1, 2 and 3 gallon setups. They come complete with acrylic tank w/ top an 80gph power filter and a 50/50 pc. Nice setups, I am getting ready to start a 2 or 3. They run from 29.99 to 89.99. Hope this helps.

I've seen a few of the Deco Tanks set up exactly like you described. They look good and have been running for several months. I'd put my money on one of them for that size of tank.

A 6 gallon nano might be nice with its moonlight at night.... might help to keep the Boogy Man away, too.
MUAHHHH HAH HAH HAH

Ive had one before, just not sure 6gl is small enough for this application, and for what i'm looking to do

I have about a 2 gallon im willing to sell for about 15 shipped. It is acrylic and Ive only had it for about a week and switched over to my 10 gal. Ill give you everything that came with it, The pump, airstone, tubing, hood ( I rigged it a little) let me know!

alopt of the smaller nanos grow extremely fast, I did have a 2 gallon and i lighted it for about a week to cycle it and i have a million pods on it. I was using a regular desk lamp (27watts quad power compact) and it worked fine for me.. I spent about 20 total on the tank (not including test kits and all that, rocks, substrate, and light)
