Considering a Purchase... a few questions....

Hello... I have been reading about your products and it looks really great! I have a few questions which I hope you can answer.

I know the contollers can manage a number of external devices, such as my lights, temp, skimmer, sump, but the starter package only has a 4 outlet power bar. It seems like more power bars are available, but I didn't find pricing on your site.

Is there a "feed mode" button like I might find on a "competitive product?"

And paging/e-mail is part of the Beginner package but not the Starter package, right?

thx!

Hiya

If you visit www.cherycorals.com you will be able to find the prices of the other power bars, but they range around $269.00 for a 6 way digital bar. This gives you great expandablity to more power bars as they can be daisy chained.

It would be cheaper for you to go for the Beginner pack as it includes a 6 way as standard.

A feed pause is incorporated into the esc key on the main unit, it is also built into the software that comes with the ProfiLux, you can get some screen shots of the software that is listed in the Poriflux vs AC thread

email is available and text messaging via SMS is coming in June.

If you need further help just let mee know

Best wishes
Michael

You can get the 4 or 6 plug power bar. the 6 plug power bar is "digital" in the sense that it can be daisy chained up to a total of 4 (6+6+6+6 =24 plugs)

the feed mode is activated by pressing the "esc" key on the right had side, the feed time can be set and has a huge list of option on what it affects (powerhead, return pump....)

You can do alerting from any of the units, this is done and configurable from the Profilux Controle. There is also a separate "NEW" SMS module that will be available shortly that will have even more option (power failure, built in cell phone...)

heheh CORRECTION, you dont need LAN or WLAN card, the device can be connected vian the serial cable.

The computer that it's attached to has to be connected to the net :c)
