considering a wave box - questions

A pic of my tank 100 gallon is below: I currently run a 7095 with 2 6000s

As you can see I have about 1.50 inches at the top - Marine depot says the wave is .78 inch when I see on many of the post 1.5 inches - I want less (or at least the option to have less until I get used to it - i.e. I don't want to plug this thing in and have everything get crazy splashing, shaking loose, sand storm etc) - so is it adjustable enough ?

Is the timing of the pulse adjustable or random?

Do many of you turn it off at night? If so, do you worry about snails,fish making it a home at night so that when it comes back on there is a problem?

It has its own controller? does having a 7095 change the possible set up ie would I consider using the 7095 to drive the wavebox?

How far down underwater should the top of the box be if I want to start off with less is more wave action

does the water level in the sump change every pulse? - I use gravity fed skimmer and anticipate a problem with changing pressures impacting my skimmer

The wave height varies with tank size, the longer and narrower the tank, the bigger the wave, shorter wider tanks make shorter waves. You can adjust wave height by setting a lower speed of the pump on the driver.

Each tank has one frequency that will generate a wave and the wave frequency is determined by the tanks resonance frequency.

The 7095 cannot run a wavebox, the wavebox includes its own 6091 which turns the wavebox pump off and on from every .4- 1.5seconds.

The skimmer could be a problem as the wave would cause a surge into the overflow unless the overflow is centered where the water level would not change since the crest and trough of the wave occurs on the ends and the center is the fulcrum point.
