I am interested in their 65W system but i have few questions and need your help:

1) What are the dimentions of this aquapod?
2) Is 65W light be sufficient for softies and may be low light LPS?
3) What do people normally change from this setup that it comes with?
4) Does it create any heat or ventilation issues?
5) Any other issues with Aquapod 24?
6) Is it better to buy seperate tank, lighting, etc....

I am planning to have sumpless, skimmerless low bioload system with weekly 15% water changes

I got a 24 aquapod last week at my LFS and the first one had a crack on the bottom and the light wouldn't work.I never got to put water in it.My LFS got another one in and I set it up 2 days ago and now the second one is leaking.I don't know I want to try #3. I think I will find me something else.I may will buy a 30cube.I hope you don't have the trouble I have had.

I have not had any problems with my AP24 and I love it. I have made only minor modificiations such as changing the stock pump to a maxijet and installing a quieter cooling fan.

Dimensions are 20w x 17d x 20h.

I have Softies and LPS with the 64w setup.

My heat runs 78 night and 80 day.

However if I could go back and do it again I would do a 20L setup or an Oceanic 30 cube. Having one of these systems would give you so many more options, eg sumps, skimmers, refugium, lighting.

Also I don't think the AP was cheaper in the long run.

SMS, I have a 24 aquapod with the 70wat MH. I really like my tank and have had great luck with it. If I had it to do all over again I would go with a tank that is not all in one. You have so many more options going with just a tank. You can mod it how ever you would like. I now have a 20 long that I am getting ready to set up to be a softy tank and will leave my sps in my 24. Just look at what derection you really want to go. Good luck
