Considering Swales Swiss Basslet

Ok I'd really like to put this beautiful Swales Basslet in my tank however I am a bit worried about how a couple of its tank mates would react. The two fish that are my primary concern are my mystery wrasse, and a candy hog (two spot hog). I have read that it shouldnt be a problem but I would love some insight/advice from people that have either done this or really know the behaviors of the wrasse, hog, and basslet.

Liopropoma basslets seem to be more skittish/reclusive than some other basslets. IMHO its risky with those two inhabitants. The Candy Hog would probably be fine, its the mystery that may or may not pester it.

It all depends on the size of the display and the amount of cover and places for the Lio. to find refuge. The wrasse and Lio don't share the same area in the water column. If you have plenty of caves and a large enough display it should not be an issue. If you get the Lio, I would keep him in a clear critter pen with some live rock. That way the wrasse and Hog can get a look at hi m and get used to him without doing any damage. tim

I had one in my 215gal that always hid. I had to leave the room for it to come out.
Pretty fish though.
