This going all out thing will only work IF I can figure out how to do the following:
-building of the hood and stand with no tools or carpentry skills
-transportation of tank, hood, stand to Columbia. The hood can be built in one piece but I think the stand will have to go in three pieces in order to fit through my door and into my basement.
-how to lift tank onto completed stand by myself ;)
-hooking up lighting/plumbing/everything else


I need to get a quote for the tank from glass cages before I can commit to this and place an order. I'm going to go with a rimless tank made with starfire glass and a centered overflow on the back panel of the tank. If the grand total of everything is above what my "budget" is, it's a no go.
