Controling mp40 with WXM issues

Hi,
Is it normal after connecting the mp40 to the wxm, that the mp40 driver controls does not work anymore?

Is there a way to override the wxm and use the manual controls on the driver when you wanted to?

It's been a while since I used WXM + MP40. From what I remember, once the MP40 is linked to WXM, it becomes a slave. This is no different than when 2 or more MP40s are linked together. One is the master and the others are slaves. The intended control once WXM becomes the master is via ApexFusion or the builtin Apex webserver. For example, you could create virtual outlets to manually enable various features of MP40 directly. Once you realize you can do virtually everything with the MP40 from ApexFusion or the webserver, using the control pad becomes unnecessary.

Yes! I understand the program's intend, but it makes more sense if still able to use the dial to control the speed.
