Controller for 6055

I have 2 6055's now with no controller. I plan to add another ph and am thinking about the 7095 controller. Any issues with the 6055's and the 7095? Reason I ask is someone commented in reviews that there was a problem. Would it be ok to add one more pump to be controlled by the 7095 or should I go with two making a total of 4? This is on a 120g 4x2x2 tank. Any suggestions as to what pump or pumps to add? Going a little more into SPS but still want LPS. Thanks.

I can't imagine what the problem would be, if one exists for a user it would be some sort of defect, error or damage as all the functions should work normally. Generally, I would prefer the 7096, it does more and is cheaper and the only reason to avoid it is if you just don't like dealing with a computer. A 120 with 2 6055 and 2 6095 would be a very neat set up. However, you could use 3 pumps as well.

Thanks Roger. I'll probably add one 6095 and then add another later if needed. Should I direct the 6055's toward SPS areas and let the 6095 kind of cover the whole tank? Regarding the 7095 that's what I thought. I've got a line on a used one so that's what I'll probably do.

The 6095 has an effective reach of about 3ft, so it will cover most of the tank with a gentle, diffuse flow. I would use that for general flow, ideal for the LPS and focus the 6055's on your SPS colonies.
