Controller shorted out

I am the second owner of this pwr hd. Its a 6000 or a 6100...i have both. Unknown to me at the time a weeping bulkhead leaked into the controller and shorted it out. I wiped it off and i worked for a few more wks. It has quit now and won't restart. Since i bought it second hand what are my options? Mfg date i believe was 2005.

It isn't covered under warranty when the damage is the result of water exposure.

Can it be fixed by Tunze or is it possible just to get a new controller?
