I have about had it with my old Neptune II I am looking at the apex anybody know if they are good or bad I haven't heard much about them do they compare with the pro3 I need to do something.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks Aaron

I have the Apex. Haven't totally switched over from my other controller, but so far no complaints. Other than wish each outlet had a amp reading on it rather than a combined reading for the entire strip.

Just ordered the RKL and am excited to see how well it works. May not be enough of a controller for your set-up though?*?*

BTW....the RKL has software coming out in just a few days that will make it compatible with the NET module thus the tank can have internet connectivity.

I want to stay with neptune everything is already programed into the laptop that runs it. I think I may have to order an Apex it looks like I need 3 dc8 or whatever they call them now. I am getting ready to move my tank I believe across the room that way I have a room behind it to put everything it looks ugly on the Bar. You can sit on the couch and watch it and still have room to play the will with a full bowling lane look.( Dont ask why my Son needs a whole approach to Wii Bowl) I am moving the mancave around and thinking of tearing out the bar and putting a theater in slowly or a playstation room on the other end that way one kid can be on the wii and the other can play playstation I dont have a 3 yet but they have a 1 and 3-2s so it should be a cool build to be able to play all the old school games also.

I believe the programing is different with the APEX than it is with the previous Neptune controllers. Your current DC4's and DC8's and some accessory modules will work with the new APEX controller. Aquanotes will not work with the new APEX, there is a new aquanotes like software that works with the APEX. Mark can verify this as he has the new APEX. HTH

Correct the programming is different. Much easier. I believe there are 3rd party transfer programs though. No software yet it's all webbased and really not needed. There is a ipod app that is great, can pretty much do everything from the base unit, web or ipod. Another bonus is the aquasurf is now essentially built in. (just need to purchase cables.)
