Controlling a wavebox with 7095

Hey, I was looking at the tunze website and noticed this in the description on the 7095 controller: "A wavebox 6212 and the pumps mentioned above can also be controlled by the Multicontroller."

Does this mean that if I already have a multicontroller and I want to add a wavebox to my setup, I can just buy the wavebox extension and use the multicontroller to control it? I'm not really sure how this would work, but thought I would ask.

As far as I understand it, if you use the Multicontroller with the Wavebox, it allows the Wavebox to be cycled on and off along with your Streams. Tunze recommends usually having the Multicontroller in interval mode with 6 hours set as the interval with the Wavebox hooked up in slave mode. If you have a Stream on the other channel, it'll set the flow to be 6 hours of the Stream operating (pulsing if you wish) and then 6 hours of wave action with the Wavebox. If you have two Streams (one on each channel with the Wavebox on one of those channels), the you'll have alternating flow from the Streams every 6 hours with the Wavebox operating during one period of those 6 hours on whichever channel you set it up on.

At least, that's what I think happens. I'm sure the Tunze people here will correct me if I'm wrong. :)

So to answer your other question, you can't operate the Wavebox extension with just the Multicontroller. You still need the original Wavebox (6212).

As Spleen said you need to buy the complete Wavebox to make it function the addition of 7095 is just an option.
