Controlling / killing digitata spread

I have a brown digitata that is spreading and I'd like to stop or better yet kill the spread. It has grown right over some plating montipora and it's taking over the rock that it's on.

I've used 2 part epoxy on a favia to keep it from growing into a nearby coral. Has anyone used other methods?.

thanks,
Albert

Kalk paste it little by little. Cut all your flow, apply kalk past over the digi carefully where it's spreading, wait 10 minutes, suck up the kalk past. Monti should be dead at the point of contact. Wait a couple days. Repeat until you can remove it entirely

Thanks for the tip. I'll give the paste a try.

Here's a few pics.
