To control my overflow into my sump, I went with a flex hose into an 8" piece of pvc which I capped the bottom of, and drilled holes just above the cap. I was planning on building 2.5" x 2.5" walls in the corner of my sump to hold the pvc. If I do this, should I:
(1) Run the walls all the way to the bottom and cut holes/slits into the bottom of it to allow the water to exit, or (2) start the walls maybe an inch of 2 above the bottom of the tank so that the only purpose of the walls is the hold the pvc in place?
Thanks,
Simon
