I have a question, right now I have a 40g high tank with 60 lbs of LR and 80 lbs of live sand. I have a Maxi Jet 600 and a Seio 2600 for good circulation, and a i have n aquac pro skimmer w/ prefilterbox using the rio 1400

I have nothing in my tank yet, its mid cycle, needs another week before i put in some fish and maybe some nice softies may a BTA or something things along those lines.

Question I have is, I am also running a fluval 204 with chemipure, does it make sense to keep this running, or should i convert it into a phosphate reactor? I havent hd any phospahte problems, I am just trying to create the best environment for my tank.

I know i have read about this before and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do the conversion

Let me know your thoughts,
Rob

If you don't have a problem then why fix it? I would use it the way your using it now. Maybe add some carbon to it sometimes too. Can't you add like 2-3 different medias anyways.
