Cooking Rock

How long after cooking your rock with muriatic acid can you return to your tank? I used the eco friendly acid don't know if that makes any difference.

With regular muriatic I rinsed the rock, let it dry and it was ready to go in. You could also begin seeding it with saltwater and a poece of live rock. Once the acid is neitralized it is safe. I have no idea about Eco acid, seems like a contradiction in terms.

I had it in the truck. I use it to etch concrete and it's not so hard on lawns and shrubbery.

Did it do a good job of dissolving part of e rock? I may be tempted to soak it in RO/DI water for a week and test the po4 just to make sure it got it all.

Yea it I would say it did A good job.
