I found this cruising around today in my tank!!

ok i googled it.its a sea slug,is it reef safe?

It eats sponges, its safe. Unless I want sponges! The thing is I haven't added any rock or anything it could have come on in almost a year!!

so you have had some of these in your tank for at least a year and didnt know it.you must not look at your tank enough

It's eaten all the sponges in the back of the reef and in all the holes now its out looking for more.

It is nocturnal and usually lives under rocks so I guess thats how I have missed it! Really took me by suprise today!

It's cool but now you gotta keep it fed.

I have a Starving lawnmower blenny I managed to wipe out all the algae in my 65 and now the poor guy has nothing left to eat.

That is really cool, I had a few when I first started my tank and I also had a lot of sponges. All the little sponges are gone as are the slugs, I really miss watching them. didn't have any that looked like that though - cool.

I had a blenny that was very picky of the food he would eat. Try some of the algae based frozen foods. Break them up SOO small and see if he goes for them. Mine wouldn't eat if the piece was bigger than a pin head.

lol im such a noob i originally saw it and though you were happy about a flatworm
