It's amazing to see what a standard DSLR can do for video. A lot of the videos on that site are taken with my camera or "worse" cameras. Inspires me to want to try, of course, they also have about $7000 worth of gear surrounding the body.
Yeah, I hear ya. The underwater housing they use for the shoot is a little over $3000, that isnt counting the port for the lens or any of the strobes. Plus I'm sure they are using a multiple thousands of dollars lens.
The Gates LED video lights they use in some of them cost about $5000 for a pair. I think we can stop complaining about the cost of lights over our tanks.
