Ohh, maybe gonis like blue-ish light because they are found in slightly deep water?

I think it's the opposite, a lot of them are in shallow lagoons this one just happens to like bluer light but I have A TON of blue light. Basically as if it was in a shallow lagoon with a blue sun

I use Red Sea Coral Pro, not sure if that has much to do with it or not though. I think ignoring it is key, keeps water parameters stable instead of constantly throwing random food in there and messing up the water thinking the goni's gonna eat it.

really nice i hated my clowns hosting in mine ....but the goni dont really seem to mind to much they dont close up or retract from them which surprised me
