Tangers, your ACjr is actually able to take advantage of multiple speed fans? Meaning, it can speed them up and slow them down accordingly?

no, my jr just cuts them out at different times due to temp. if the temp reaches a certain amount it kicks the first set on. if it reaches a second point it kicks the second set on. same on the way down. they don't actually slow up or speed up in my tank just on and off in different stages. i thought that the multiple speed fans would be good for him though because he didn't have a controller.

Oh ok, just making sure because I was fairly certain a RK2 doesn't have that option and it would suck if ACjr's did.

I am seriuosly considering an auqacontroller but one of the most useful fetures for me would be the ethernet ability. Being able to check on my tank from anywhere would be great. Only the AC3 and 3Pro have this option as far as I know but they have way more fetures than I need. I would be fine with the JR or RK2, do you guys know of anything in that price range that has ethernet?

Thanks

I'm fairly certain there are some people in the Digital Aquatics forum who have figured out ways to use cheap, router type machines so that they can have the ******** program running at all times.

Then, just set up your computer so that you can access it remotely through the internet and you got it. If you're a person who knows a fair amount about computers, I'd look into that option...

Also, I don't know that much about AC's so the lower models might support ethernet easier than this so I would look on their website and maybe post a question in their forum regarding this issue.
