Copepod and amphipod farm in the same tank?

I started a separate tank to grow copepods to feed a dragonet. Everything seems to be going fine after a few weeks. I ordered some amphipods to add to my display tank. But am considering adding them to my copepod tank to set up a breeding colony to keep a constant supply going. Is it okay to have both the copepods and amphipods in the same tank? My copepod tank has nothing but a couple small balls of chaeto in it and a couple air tubes that just drop air into the tank. I change the water and strain out the copepods every couple weeks. Again everything seems to be going, huge explosion of copepods. If it is okay to add amphipods to that breeding copepod tank, do I need to add anything to the tank for the amphipods.
