copepods?

I know wat copepods and other small organisms are primary food sources for many fish, but how do you get them from ur refugium to your main setup? Do you take small rocks and put themin the main dsplay after pods have had time to settle, or do you let them flow through the outflow?i just cant get the concept?

Generally let them go with the flow. Some have speculated that the impeller would smash them, but there are some good posts from Anthony Calfo in the All Things Salty forum (if I recall) that indicate that they survive just fine.

You can always order pods to get a good population started. I order my pods from www.inlandaquatics.com. It's called the mysid/gammarous package. I think it's $24.
