I have a fungia that has been slowly bleaching. I looked underneath it and there are these flea sized creatures crawling around. Are they copepods or something else?
BTW, they won't be a cause of your fungia's troubles. Under it just happens to be a good spot for amphipods to hide out. Do you have your fungia on the sand bed or up on the rocks? Have you been feeding it?
I have three other fungias that are attached to rocks that I feed and that have been budding off. This one I kept in the sand bed and it has just been bleaching.
