Copper and avolclor !

Quick question here


I have suspected ich. I had this 230 days ago which I treated with copper

Some how despite QT etc it's back

I have tried avolclor CP I'm 7 days in and the fish look worse

I'd. Like to switch to copper seachem. Just wondered if avolclor would have any side effects

I would remove the CP first with carbon or polyfilter (if you can get it). What dosage are you using for the CP?

What is avolcolr CP? I use CP from a legit pharmacy, is avolcolr a specific brand? I have a feeling a lot of CP is being cut with baking soda (or other scams) involving some e-Bay sellers.

+1 Until a legit supplier steps up, only trust CP you get from a pharmacy. It needs to be 99% pure to be effective at the suggested dosage range (40-80mg/gal). The 1% is a binder. If the CP contains any filler, it won't work as intended.
