Hi all,

Question? Can I make a copper tank with live rock? And can i put a maroon clown in a tank with two true purcola? Tank size is 150 gallon.

I wouldn't mix those clowns, but it might work. I wouldn't use copper anywhere near a tank with live rock.

150 gallons seems like more than enough space for the 3 clowns to get along, err stay away from each other

I would use no copper.I know people that have used it to get rid of fish problems and than decided much later they wanted an anenome for the clowns and they pretty much melted within a day or so of being added. I have heard that copper will absorb into the glass and it almost impossible to get rid of all.good luck with whatever you decide Scott

I agree with weaver5 copper is a bad idea unless you are only going to have fish. I hear once a tank has copper in it its there for life. Thats one thing you need to be careful of if you are going to do a reef tank and are looking to buy a used tank.
