Copper article

Thanks Humblefish!! The UF Aquaculture dept is and has been a great resource for me on parasitic pathology...go Gators!!

Thanks! One thing I would love to know (but cannot find out) is who first discovered that copper was effective at treating external parasites in fish? Obviously it was (probably) someone treating f/w fish. But was it some scientist or research team (as we all assume)? Or overachieving hobbyist?

I'd also like to know the same for tank transfer, hypo, chloroquine phosphate, etc. Google Scholar is heavy on all the particulars of these treatments... but light on the history.
