copper banded butterfly

Try getting a raw clam and open it up. The CBB will go after it no problem. Once the fish is used to you giving him that clam then what you do is make a feeder out of a half shell.
Get yourself an onion bag, you know the mesh thing that onions or sometimes potatoes come in. Cut a square about 3" in size. Rinse this well! Put food in that half shell....stuff like mysis shrimp, or marine supreme frozen food. Place the mesh over the shell and wrap it around two times if possible. Gather the bottom part of the mesh and secure it with a rubber band. Then gently submerge the whole thing to the bottom of the tank. The CBB will be familiar with the clam shell and his long snout will allow him to eat through that mesh, keeping other fish out while he learns to accept new foods. Eventually you won't need to use the shell feeder at all.

Good luck!
