So I've got a disease in my tank. It's either ich or velvet; I can't exactly determine which, so I was planning on catching and quarantining all of my fish and dosing them with copper; then allowing my tank to sit fallow for about six weeks to allow for any ich to die off.
Since I'm relatively new to the hobby, however, I want to make sure that my fish can withstand a copper treatment and that none of them are going to be overly harmed because of it. I have no plans on breeding, so that isn't an issue.
Currenlty in the tank:
2 bangaii cardinals
1 bi-colored blenny
2 orange clownfish
1 yellow tang
1 dwarf golden moray eel
1 flame hawkfish
1 six-line wrasse
2 golden-headed sleeper gobi
1 mandarin gobi
1 niger trigger
2 blue damsels
1 yellow-spotted puffer (who is a brackish fish that has been acclimated to saltwater)
Any information would be helpful.
