We just upgraded to a 375 reef system.
My husband had a 135 FOWLR, I had a 120 reef.
We moved everything from the 120 over to the new tank.
I was afraid to take anything from his system to the new because he has treated it with:
Mardel Copper Safe
Melafix
Pimafix
Organi Cure
We have sold all the fish about a month ago, we kept the tank running. Tonight we have seen a few 100 cope pods running around his tank.
How did they survive all the copper in his tank?
Do you think I could take some of his LR and put it in the new system?
Let me again say I very afraid to do this, he has treated his tank with copper.
