copper treatment failure due to low kh?

somewhere I remember reading that the kh has to be at a certain level inorder for copper to be effective against parasites..

anyone know if this is so???

what level is acceptable kh?

what can you use to bring it up ?

The trick to KH has nothing to do with the parasites, it's that copper is more toxic (to the fish) at low KH. You want to keep the alkalinity close to normal parameters ;) Any marine buffer's will work.
