Copper treatment

I just bought 3 tangs, a sohal, a powder blue, and a clown tang. I have all three in quarantine and will keep them there for 3-4 weeks before adding to my reef all at one time. They do not show any signs of ich. Given the fact that they are ich prone fish I was considering using copper as a preventative measure to guarantee that there are no parasites present on the fish prior placement in my reef tank. Does copper stress the fish?

For tangs, I prophylactically treat them as if they have ich. If you use copper, Seachem's Cupramine would be my choice.

my tang had ich and now its looking great after a month
