copper W/ refugium??

what is treating my tank with copper going to do to my refugium
I have lots of plants in it are they going to die??

please help me

Quite possibly. It will certainly kill most of the inverts in there.

Copper is also an algaecide, so if the levels are high enough, it could kill them as well.
