All the levels of my Amm. nitrite and nitrate are 0 salinity is in normal range and for some reason my fish was stuck to the overflow this morning. I have moved it into a breeding net in the same tank and am offering it the aptasia from another tank but not sure what else to do to try to save it. It was eating the aptasia in my display tank until they all disappeared and I have been feeding it regular with mysis and homemade food. The other fish are fine, but this one seems to be lost at the moment. Is there anything that I can do to help it out. It looks normal otherwise. It is just swimming upside-down and in circles etc... and then stops to rest and lays on the bottom. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Shawn,

The term for that behavoir is "moribund". I'm afraid that fish rarely recover once they reach that level of a problem. If its a disease issue, generally, any medication will take more time to work than the fish has left. If it is some water quality issue, then movng the fish might bring it around - but you can use your other animals to determine that - if other, more sensitive species are fine, then you can rule out water quality.

How is or was your copperband Butterfly doing?
I have a wrasse doing the same thing now.
He was fine and all of a sudden he has been swimming upside down and vertical. I have turned my Vortech down to the lowest setting I dont want him to get sucked in there and I have never seen this happen.
Hope all went well for your little guy.
